This explainer video was created to educate clinical trial participants on the key differences between placebo and nocebo effects. It clearly outlines how both psychological and physiological responses can influence the perceived outcome of a study — helping participants understand why their honest, unbiased feedback is critical to research accuracy.

We designed a patient-friendly visual style paired with empathetic narration, making complex clinical trial mechanics feel relatable and transparent. By using calm pacing and real-life analogies, we made it easier for participants to understand their role in the data collection process — regardless of which study group they belong to.
